SAFE HEAVENS helps the space sector and its investors align with international space sustainability frameworks. Our consulting services ensure missions are not only compliant and resilient but also positioned to attract funding, win contracts, and build long-term credibility.

What Is Space Sustainability?
The definition of Space Sustainability has been agreed internationally within the Guidelines for the Long-term Sustainability of Outer Space Activities of COPUOS – the Committee for the Peaceful Use of Outer Space of the United Nations.
There, Space Sustainability is defined as “the ability to maintain the conduct of space activities indefinitely into the future in a manner that realizes the objectives of equitable access to the benefits of the exploration and use of outer space for peaceful purposes, in order to meet the needs of the present generations while preserving the outer space environment for future generations”.
SAFE HEAVENS' services focus on two main outcomes for corporate clients:
Contributing to the long-term sustainability of the space environment – a precondition for long-term continuity and viability of space businesses.
Strengthening ESG and investment credentials – to comply with relevant regulatory regimes, enhance market competitiveness, and access the investment of discerning venture capitals and private equity funds.
Why Space Sustainability Matters to Your Business
Investing in space sustainability is more than an ethical responsibility — it is a strategic business decision. Corporate benefits include:
Regulatory alignment with international standards, regional guidelines, and national requirements.
Access to investment, as venture capital and private equity increasingly require ESG-compliant business models.
Reputation advantage, by demonstrating commitment to responsible space operations and environmental stewardship.
Long-term viability, by contributing to a safe and sustainable orbital environment.
